Dil Bechara trailer set the record of gaining highest ever likes for movie trailer on YouTube. Film is scheduled to release today on Disney+Hotstar. Soon after the release IMDb ratings will open for everyone to vote for it.

With current wave I guess IMDb voting will go up as and above 9 for sure. Might set out highest rated movie as well. But in actuality is that the real rating??

The reviews and ratings will be high because if the sympathy and not because the film is any work of art.

What do you think is it right to sing high praises (if it's bad) ??

Discuss.

Who would sing praises for the film?

It's all because he died nobody is even talking about sanajana and how she was in the trailer

Everybody will watch the film for him.

So what imbd rating will go up even if the film doesn't deserve it . I mean what can or should one do not watch the film?

Not trying to be negative, but the way people have been showing sympathy is totally getting over-the-board. Where were the people to show love when he was alive? I haven't watched Dil Bechara yet but have watched the Hollywood version, The Fault in our Stars. Based on that I don't think that it will be a better movie than Chhichhore, then again it's my sole opinion. If anything then Dil Bechara deserves a rating like 8 to the most based on its plot.

Honestly, I don’t care for the IMDB ratings...9 or 90 or .09...kya farak padta hai? With everything that is happening around his unfortunate demise, that’s like the least of the problems....

Ofcourse you can. You should. But rate it according to quality of the film. If you gonna rate high only because of his demise, and if you think that's your way of showing love and offering condolences then let me tell you it's not. let IMDb function the way it always has, don't try to set a record of something is unworthy(if it is)

I don't rate on imbd nor do I participate in any record making, I just 'enjoy' a film

And what is Imbd anyway God or something, I have seen many undeserving films rated high on imbd and many good films rated low

Imbd is the last thing to be worried about, just watch the film if you want and enjoy it!

Liking a movie or not is a very subjective thing.

You can love a movie eventually but hate at first or can love it when you first watch it and then not like it later. It depends on the state of mind one is watching. So no rating ever justifies the quality of the film because every mind perceives different things from different films.

Also, if a movie as good as chapaak can have a 5/10 rating because of political upheaval , why can't dil bechara have 11/10 because of emotions related with his demise?

Exactly this is the thing that I really hate about internet

These ratings likes dislikes too many opinions , one can't just make his / her own opinion about a film , sometimes you really want to watch a film and you see these ratings and all you do not go with your gut feeling you go with the rating

Uh, let this movie take the ratings/love and popularity of all his films that did not get it. Many of them are anyway going to watch it, even if they did not follow SSR much or found him overrated because everyone right now are high on emotion. People are still not over his death , so will watch it just thinking this is going to be the very last time. And no one can change that fact. I did not wanted it to be released this soon , but looks like business minds know how to make every situation a fruitful situation..

So once again let it have the love/ratings/popularity/critical acclaim that other films of his deserved. Let it have probably what Soni Chidiya deserved just for him this last once. It wont happen again. It could be unfair, but not as unfair as what happened to him. Plus you know what it doesn't even matter anymore. 💔

You know IMDB rating for BW is a joke now. Movies like Uri and Tanhaji getting high ratings where Chapaak getting low ratings even though the latter actually got critical acclaim
