Hadn't BW put a pause on his "rise" already? Isn't that what the nepotism debate is all about? That he wasn't given due appreciation, projects were snatched and maligning was done which is why ppl were reluctant to work with him? Haven't people been saying how unjust BW is that Sushant got no substantial work after the success of chichore? When BW mafia as you guys call it already managed to put his career on hold, why would underworld kill him fearing his rise?

Considering he did not have any substantial work post Chichore as per rumors and fans, his rise was certainly halted at the moment.. so they really did not have a reason to kill him at this point.. perhaps when he was more successful.. right now, he wasn't even considered in top five of young gen actors.. both Ayushman and Rajkumar and even Kartik were considered above him despite his successes because of his minimal hype

Again those are rumors that haven’t been confirmed either way. Again Dr. Swamy said even if someone was actively involved in his sabotage that triggered his depression that can be held accountable by law too. He is leaving both avenues open. Karthik was def not considered above Sushant he had just made it into the big league. Chichchore was just last year before Covid.

Even Manoj Bajpai has expressed he to some degree felt sabotaged by the industry. He still continued to work despite hype and not having box office success. Sushant could have continued to do movies like Sonchariya who Manoj claims the star kids are not interested in because they don’t make the doe. But he would have still had a career and have been successful in his own way.
