Umm he did become a star with 80% of his films either being commercial or critically acclaimed successes. And YES he was more handsome than any of the male star kids. He was more intelligent and well read than any of the. And got selected as Abhishek Kapoor said for genuinely being a talent not because of his surname. As Abhishek Kapoor said these star kids get selected due to surname and sometimes by chance they end up reasonably talented or if they aren't the directors try to wing the performance out of them. There is a video of Karan Johar saying talent was the last reason he picked Alia Bhatt.

Exactly what i wrote in my long post. I did not see such barrage of professional blinds and negative articles against other outsiders. His first director said the exact same thing. There was media slandering against him when he was shooting for Kedarnath.

I apologize to you because I know you are a genuine fan. And I am now a 100% convinced it was false. I commented on that thread once before it was clarified. I should have put my feminist side to rest and done more research about blinds before I commented. Even though I didn't bash him after it got clarified I owe it to Sushant and people like you.

I am not going to apologize to other people that are just working hard to defend the establishment that maligned him.

You actually don't know about him or his stardom if you seriously believe that he became a star with 80% of his films. There is no doubt for critical appreciation which is flooded to every outsider with every film even if we go to sleep watching those art films. Nothing new, all Outsider doing Art/Niche films have tons of them.

Who is Abhishek Kapoor whose statements are now thrown as if it is the only truth available? Why did he cast Sara in Kedarnath & not Taapsee or Bhumi Pednekar? He has made 5 films, every film has 1 star-kid as lead, now don't tell me he was arm-twisted in casting all of them?

It is strange how blinds have no authenticity at all and still, people do jump at the conclusions at the slightest hint to slander. This forum has a very negative attitude towards tv actors too, as if Bollywood is a place reserved for the crème da le crème. Sushant wasn't praised in this place but who really is, every fan group is just ready to tear the other one apart.
