I dont like trans. If u r born with junk, you feeling like women won't make u one or vice versa. Simple and i m not going to change what i feel about it. If i had a daughter i would never let her go share a toilet with a man who feels he is a woman .. .

I dont go on fighting them but i dont support them either. Frankly one even touched my private part, during public travel infront of everyone bcoz i refused to give money. It happens all the time.

If they want respect start working like others and stop harassing people, they have made their own image wrongly. First try to improve urself and then ask people to respect you. Simple and i dont feel like supporting 1% of society to bend themselves for such minority to please them. I m not going to rallies against them but i dont wamna support them either. I dont want to be such woke.

No problem with gays. Not harming me a bit. I have close friends who r gay. But nope i don't like trans people . Get some treatment for ur mental problems. Visit a doctor or something.

So, homophobia and transphobia is definitely not just a Bollywood thing.

But having said that, Bollwood is definitely a lot to blame for stereotyping LGBT characters. Even mainstream films like Kal Ho Na Ho and Dostana made fun of homosexuals and inspired a whole generation of Indian youth to make fun of gay people.👏 Good work, KJO!

But there are several exceptions

Tammana came out in 1997 and it was a damn good film. Paresh Rawal as a transgender/intersex did full justice to the character. Films like those really make you think that HUMANITY is above EVERYTHING
.

Sacred Games (though not BW) had a transgender love-interest, and the character was a full-fledged character NOT a caricature. The portrayal was also not derogatory. It's a shame that the audience made a meme out of her character.

Made In Heaven is another good example.

Good point. Paresh rawal very good actor

To those who believe that it's makes them a lesson person, try to read about them more. Do read what we do to them as society.

Acting acchi hai but ending is not good, not much would happen.

Waise book likhi liberal Tarun Tejpal ne hai to ye sab hoga hi.

Agree, ending was not for a series.

Ek 2 ghante ki movie ki aisi ending ho toh impact accha parta hai ki , yes duniya madarchod thi, hai aur rahegi.

Lekin saala 9 episdoes ke baad mai hum ko impactful end chahiye, naki anti climax.

mostly web series ka concept same hai end main ghanta kuch nahi hoga kyunki duniya mc thi aur rahegi ☺️

This is horrible. I did not expect this from you. Such a disappointment. Bathroom situations can be sorted - may be a third bathroom in the future ?

But the mindset that trans people have mental problems and should visit a doctor to get it sorted is abhorrent and damaging to say the least. IMO , your dislike for trans people is coming from your one personal bad experience. Terrible to generalize like that. Do you think trans people would rather extort "easy money" from civilians than work with dignity ? - They are not given an option to work with dignity. Who will hire them for regular jobs ? .. A lot of MNCs are starting this initiative to have at least one trans person in a department / team -which is a good thing but there is a long long way to go before it becomes a norm.

Sorry bro it might be disappointing to you but i said what i feel about them. I personally dont include myself in their mocking in real life and keep my distance , but i am not going to support them either. I act neutral and keep my feelings for them to myself. Neither supporting nor bashing.

But this post asked for opinions. i am not hurting anyone in real world with my opinion. I just don't feel compassion for them. If you are born with a specific part, you are that person only. Running from biology isn't healthy imo. You ( general ) can feel whatever u like and have some people supporting that mindset..anyways not my problem, but don't expect everyone to feel the same! .And Better they sort it out.

I read in uk they wanted to start gender neutral class for kids and some children went home saying i m a girl or boy which led to parents stop sending kids to schools and scrapped the class.

I have problem with this big time brainwashing of little kids. Is it appropriate according to you teach kids that you can be anything? Let them decide with age .

I don't know and u can see it as disgusting and i understand where u come frm. But i said what i feel about them. And it is not going to change. Reforms are started by community and they start doing themselves. It is not others duty to speak for them.

Yeah government should do their job and start providing more jobs for them and chances of education . They need to start living with dignity as well. Harassing people is not going to help that cause.

It will become norm with both parties cooperate. For 1% of population , whole country doesn't need to bend .

Almost half the people here believe your sexuality/gender makes you an inferior human being? Wow, it's an eye-opener. I certainly thought this forum is more progressive than that.

I used to be scared of trans people for no reason ( Ashutosh Rana in sangharsh might be a reason) but my views changed after a few interactions.

My friends (female) were waiting at the bus stop when a few drunk miscreants started Harrasing them..

Nobody came forward or did anything but a bunch trans people who were begging for alms took a stand for her... I have immense respect for them.

Later while I was pursuing my degree I became friends with a girl (trans) and she debunked all the misconceptions I had against trans people.

My cousin is gay and it doesn't make an iota of difference to me his sexuality means jackshit to me 🤣
