Yea I guess if situation improves from Aug onwards, smaller films will release as it will give them more screens and less competition.

this is the best decision tbh, people will not want to go to cinemas this year because they will still be scared of getting the corona virus, and having social distancing in the cinema will also mean less people will be able to watch the film and less tickets will be sold. Already production houses have lost lots of money so they don't want to lose any more

Not just this year. Next year as well.

This will only go away 18 months from now.

It's going to bring Dharma to the brink of bankruptcy.

Very few people will risk going to theaters anytime soon, especially if prices increase even more to make up for lost time/physical distancing implementation. I don't see some people feeling safe to go to a theater before Aug-Sep at the absolute earliest.

IMHO, more and more films should start looking at streaming giants to release their complete films rather than losing money.

If they really want they can release them online and charge fees (like for movie rentals) if they need cash flow.
