Aishwarya Rai was replaced by Sushmita Sen in Main Hoo Naa?!

Hmm may be same reason she got replaced from chalte chalte ?

I mean as much as I love SRK-Aish, that role didn't really have much to do except look pretty. Plus, Aish has even said that if she didn't have an open schedule then she could never have done the HW projects. Granted, they didn't work out but it still put her on the global level.

Sushmita was best for fit the glamourous role and she did a good job. Aish would have looked cold and blank.

If its true, what a pity. They looked good together

SRK did a lot damage to Aishwarya's career during 2003-2006 phase when he decided to not to work with her anymore. SRK-Ash could have been second SRK-Kajol if he agreed to do films with her.

Yup. I like Aish and SRK together and would have loved to have seen them in all the films mentioned. Sush while really beautiful looked like SRK's bestie than a love interest imo.
