😳untouchability is prohibited and is a punishable offence by law. So the question of practising it doesn't arise.

Data from the IMF shows India has become the world’s 5th largest economy by GDP in 2019.....yet India remains home to one-quarter of the world's poor.

What does it got to do with condemnable behavior by Ekta? Every country has poor and poverty levels. India has huge population so higher numbers.

Being Poor does not take away the right for dignity.

Just 39% of its rural residents can access sanitation facilities and nearly half the total population still defecate in the open, according to the UN

India has now made toilets and more than 98% of rural areas too have access to toilets.

I have seen men in Europe urinating on roads so?

Such contradiction.....who to blame and whos responsible one asks

So Ekta and others will continue throwing bananas at the poor as long as the above situation in India continues

Charity is meant to humble you and not an opportunity to exhibit snobbish behaviour.

There are many rich people who do charity and are very kind, gentle and giving.

Unlike Ekta. šŸ˜’

Tum log isey charity kyu bol rahe ho. Clearly mandir ke bahar gareeb ko khana do punya milega, mushkil durr hogi bola hoga koi pandit yeh.

She's giving them food is good no doubt. Bas ek banana toh tha, someone of her stature ne shahi bhojan rakhna chaiye if she genuinely want to feed poor. Usko jo pandit ne bola tha usne kiya. Galat nahi kiya, par sahi dhang se bhi nahi kiya.

This is the Wikipedia definition

( Untouchability, in its literal sense, is the practice of ostracising a minority group by segregating them from the mainstream by social custom or legal mandate)

You call it something that is punishable by law but people outside of India view it as discrimination based on cast system

Yes, it has a lot to do with it.....why do we have this high poetry level when we are now the fifth-largest economy in the world? do you have an answer......NO

India has now made toilets and more than 98% of rural areas too have access to toilets.

show me statistics

Ekta didn't want to touch them as you can see from the video and the way she gave them the food was wrong no arguing in that ....but please look at the big picture

Why do we have so many poor people in India? why?? why???? WHY

hey ekta, i think you should be much more careful the next time because infection from these poor people can even spread through the banana.. just avoiding their touch might not be enough.. next time tell one of your bodyguards or workers to feed such people..
