Mogambo was not second fiddle. Its the iconic villain role... Srk should feel privileged to play this role. On second note.. he should not do it. If he not able fill Amrish Puri shoes... he will be dusted deeper than he already is with recent flops.

I do not want SRK in a movie with Ranveer....because Ranveer's PR is absolutely cocky and disrespectful....and they will make sure that SRK is trolled left, right and center....I hope SRK sees that how Ranveer's PR disrespects him and not sign a movie with him...I would love for him to do a movie with Ranbir because Biru's PR knows how a senior actor should be treated.

Mogambo became iconic, no doubt....But his role was lesser than Mr.India’s and even Sridevi’s....In fact Sri got the best role in the movie and walked away with most credit!

Likewise Gabbar is iconic but Big B got away with most credit....

EDIT: In fact it would be next to impossible to fill in Sridevi’s shoes...even if they find a Mr.India and a Mogambo...

If Shah signs am sure he will get equal footing. Shah might even produce it. And these days, length of a role no longer matters. It's the impact you leave. Same with Sholay. He does not need to be in every frame.

And Sridevi got away with most of the credit. Cause that's Sridevi 😆 Nobody on her level these days. And even if the actress has the best role and gets credited I don't see why Shah would refuse the movie on those grounds. All the three main players can shine! And am sure the script won't stay exactly the same either.

Though I think RS will be better as Mr India and SRK as mogambo

If srk is in it then he will not be playing second fiddle, his role will be big and important, and it would be great to see srk play the villain, he does very well in negative roles, I think srk and Ranveer will be a great combination on screen

And most likely red chillies will be doing the vfx and may co-produce the film

Plus this is a reboot, not a remake, it's a new story
