Ishaan Khatter denies being in sequel of Shahid Kapoor's Ishq Vishk: I am not doing the film
Rumours were rife that Ishaan Khatter will step into the shoes of brother Shahid Kapoor for Ishq Vishk sequel. But the Dhadak actor has rubbished the rumours saying that he is not doing the film.

Shahid Kapoor burst into the Bollywood scene with Ken Ghosh's 2003 film Ishq Vishk, and now 16 years later, a sequel to the hit is in the pipeline. As soon as the news of the sequel broke out, reports started doing the rounds that Shahid's younger brother, Ishaan Khatter, has been approached to play the lead in the sequel. But a few days after the news spread like wildfire, the Dhadak actor has rubbished the rumours saying that he is not doing Ishq Vishk sequel.
"No, I am not doing Ishq Vishk 2,' he told a website.
However, the report suggests that the sequel to the 2003 film Ishq Visk is very much happening. Confirming the same, Ishq Vishk producer Ramesh Taurani told the website, "We are definitely making the sequel to Ishq Vishk. But we haven’t decided the cast as yet."
Earlier, a report in an entertainment website said that Ishaan will step into the shoes of brother Shahid Kapoor for the film.
"The makers are currently working on the script for the movie. Ishq Vishk was very young in nature, and hence, nobody better than Ishaan Khatter, who exhibits the required charm and innocence for the role. Apparently, the idea has been discussed with Ishaan but that's it," a source told the website.
But the 23-year-old actor has put a stop to speculation.
Ishaan, who began his film journey with Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds and later entered into mainstream cinema with Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, is yet to sign any other project.
