Yes, I think she is overly praised. She has great command over subtle and negative roles, else where she is just flat. She can't modulate her voice, and sound same everytime.

Among her recent films,She was terrific in Haider and decent in Andhadhun, very poor in Drishyam and Golmaal again and Terrible in missing.

She was terrible in Drisyam, but the way her bad performances are hidden. Noteworthy - let's not forget she's also a product of Tabu

Tabu success isn't any different then Alias

I just watched Haider for the first time last week, and I don't think anyone who watched that movie can ever call Tabu overrated. She is pure magic on screen, you don't see anyone but the character when she is acting. She is sooo underrated, forget overrated.
