I think what he likes most about her is that she is so normal with him and doesn't care for his fame and popularity and She is with him because of how he is as a person.

So it all works out for both of them.

because if she was fawning all over him he'd bored and like : yeah, I get that same blind adoration from female fans.

This way , she's the one that he goes for everything- cause she will tell him straight what she thinks. And that's best when it comes from someone who knows and loves you - so you know that even if they critique you , it comes from a point of love and fairness. So it's constructive rather than destructive.

And she really gives this cool, no nonsense gal vibe.

I like them together.. I have always found it sweet that they have stuck together despite Varun's stardom. You would think "Well, whats the big deal and why applaud that ?" But it isnt that common to have actors/actresses stick to their long-time partners after getting that fame and success.

Varun seems like a nice guy. But a certain person I think might have her eyes on him. LOL. I don't think he dislikes her either but he is committed to Natasha. Good luck to all of them. It's not always easy to find the right person to share your life with.
