Zoya in her interview said GB is the first time where her first choices agreed to do the movie. Someone should dig up that video for GB promos. Zoya already admitted she offered ZNMD and DDD to Ranbir first. Why whould she lie now about GB. Kuch bhi..

and here is an article saying imran abbas was the first choice for ramleela before ranveer, it also mentions kareena being the first choice for leela before deepika

Maybe she had to lie because it's insulting to Ranveer just like how producers of other actresses deny them being trouble-makers but still they are bashed based on articles made on sources and claims are made of the producers lying in fear of the actor same must be the case here. 😉

Because Aishwarya's name was legitimately out during the casting 😆 Not years later by a random article. Nowhere has Ranbir's name ever pop up during RamLeela or Befikre during their casting or release or even years later lol. Only this year on one random article 😆 I wonder why. Hmmm. 😆
