The problem is he isn't doing age appropriate roles anymore and this is exactly what contributed in his downfall at BO because people don't want to see a 50+ year old romancing like he used to do back in his 30s.

I don't understand why the hell he isn't choosing good scripts despite being the best actor with so much charisma😭 It truly hurts because i know he is capable of so much more but wasting his talent🥺

Madhuri is way more iconic but she herself wanted it to go. She wanted escape. Thousands used to haunt her. She said just before her mrg, that we go after seeking recognition but when it comes we want to escape it. I want to live freely and start again. She didn't want to marry in India bcos everyone knows her. She felt suffocated. I have many articles of her which show how much Queen she was in those days. Aish, DP, Kat too didn't have such life or value.

Does it really matter if your favorite is not the biggest box office star? Does it even matters if he's a floppy like Tushaar Kapoor? SRK hasn't stopped doing films. It may not be working but if you like his films, then you shouldn't care about anything else.

I don't think anyone becomes a fan of an actor because of his box office status(not counting those gathbandhan folks who lick ass any successful actor).

And if you are just feeling sad for SRK, then don't be. He doesn't care about his stardom anymore. Being a fan you should know that.

U make sense.

Well, it's again the same case with me. Madhuri has been called an actress that comes once in a hundred years and like Simi Garewal said she was no longer a heroine but she became a part of Indian culture.

But I am so upset with her script sense. She has such great talent but her script choices are horrendous.

Madhuri clearly still has it to be a game changer for women above 40 but her script sense is so disappointing.

Yes worst script sense and marketing sense as well. For such an actress she is, it is surprising and amuses me that she doesn't take care or care enough or at all.

I don't agree with you. Shahrukh is a fantastic actor and he looks cool. One good script will bring him back. I don't think he will continue ruling the box office like his prime but he will definitely make his presence felt.

So you liked SRK the superstar and not the actor.

He's just going through a bad phase. He ain't finished. Change is happening and he isn't adapting well. The moment he does he will come back. He's got brains on him he'll be fine.

A popular Hollywood actor, maybe Harrison Ford, once said that it's hard to rise again after failure not because the people stop loving you but the studios do.
It's a similar situation in Bollywood. Once you're on top you're golden. You get the best scripts, best directors, best release dates. But today the best scripts/directors/producers are going to Ranbir/Ranveer, Akshay, Aamir first with their big budget offerings. Salman has his own parallel industry running. You're too big for mid budget films which has it's own Varuns, Tigers, Vickys. Sure he'll get a Zero rejected by Salman or Saare Jahaan se acha rejected by Aamir or JHMS rejected by Ranbir but those are not top scripts or why would they be rejected?

In short, fans shouldn't expect any sort of comeback. He might get lucky once or twice but he's too far the totem pole to get that top script/director combo consistently and be a force again.

Box office is secondary tbh. If a movie is good people will watch it no matter what but the problem is his recent movies are bad. Even if i try watching them i don't feel that interested like before. It truly hurts.

I dont know how anyone can call Raees or Dear Zindagi or Fan as bad films 😕
IMHO SRK is a better actor now than in his most commercial phase, his performances in all the recent films have been critically praised and appreciated but the movies failed due to director/ script problems.
