here is my review

My review has spoilers in bold

Saw Badla it is brilliant. I was completely engrossed I liked the way Amitabh's character deduced the real truth from the statements. The film stays with you even after leaving the theatre.

It is an Amrita Singh and Amitabh Bachchan show. This is one of Amrita's best films and roles in a long time. Taapsee's acting was good but Amitabh and Amrita's acting was mindblowing.Amitabh is phenomenal frankly I could only sit through the table scenes because of him, he has great dialogue delivery and keeps you interested

To be honest I already guessed who is taking badla beforehand but it was presented well.Amitabh's character was so well spoken it is surprising how his character is so good in what he does and knows every detail.

The best thing about the film is the acting, direction and Amitabh's dialogues.

4/5 stars. Overall, the film is enjoyable and will keep you engrossed watch it at least once for sure.1 deducted as could guess one twist from kahaani

Naina's change was unexpected. There were very few people who could be suspects about who killed Arjun so who the murderer is and who is taking badla it is quite obvious. Naina is a surprising character though. It leaves a good message about hit and run without being preachy as it makes you think for yourself.The film is more surprising if you haven't seen Kahaani as you can expect a similar twist from Sujoy. But nonetheless, this twist is good.

this is a must watch movie do support the movie and see it in theatres. It is one of the best movies of 2019

i haven't seen the spanish original version...but damn...sujoy ghosh again delivers!!

and who cares if its a copy...i was hearing the same when gajni came, the cry was its copy of memento, just last month, gully boy came, and everyone screamed...its a copy of 8 miles...but like who cares...i thoroughly enjoyed those movies. not everyone has seen the originals.

and don't kill me when i say this..i find many copies better than originals.

and why do i feel this one might be a better verson. i am going to check invisible guest...lets see. but damn oh damn...badla is breathtaking!!!

i tell you guy...youz will be glued to screen...saans bhi nahi loge aap log...no blinks either...one of the best thrillers of recent time!!!

Captain Marvel Big First Day - Badla Picks Up

Captain Marvel had a very good first day at the box office with collections in the 13.50-14 crore nett range. This is the highest Hollywood opening day day collection after Avengers - Infinity War which went to a huge 30 crore nett plus number.

The film does not have much to offer the Indian audience especially in the dubbed languages but the Marvel branding is too strong. The opening practically ensures a good first weekend which will probably be next to Avengers - Infinity War. The film has registered better opening day occupancy at multiplexes better than all Hindi films in 2019. Single screens are less than Total Dhamaal.

Badla picked up well in the late afternoon and evening shows to record collections in the 5 crore nett range. The film hardly looked 4 crore nett in the morning but that was as it had nothing for the youth but the evening crowd did come for the film in the metros.

This should ensure a good pick up on Saturday and a respectable weekend with the test coming on Monday. The last film of Amitabh Bachchan as main lead was 102 Not Out which collected a little under 3.50 crore nett so this film is a lot better than that even if we alllow for the new tax rates there is still a 1 crore nett difference and that too despite being released on fewer screens.

Movie is really good. Really gripping, I reached the theater a bit late but within 10 minutes I was completely engrossed in screenplay. Brilliantly shot, brilliant acting. And the way one after the other story unfolds, it gives you chills. Taapsee's character was brilliant and of course she once again proves she is a brilliant actress.

Really hope it is a hit so that we have more movies like this.
