Ranveer Singh tops the list of the most visible celebrity with an average visibility of 13 hrs/day on television, according to TAM study. According to the study, Virat Kohli, won the top position in Y 2018 by endorsing for maximum number of categories. Film Stars top the list of celebrities endorsing advertisements, which stood at 80%. Maximum number of celebrities have endorsed brands under 'Online Shopping' category. About 21 celebrities endorsed brand Flipkart.com' during Y 2018. Average advertisement duration of celebrity endorsed stood at 26 hrs/month in Y 2018. Among overall advertising on television, nearly 25% of the advertisements were endorsed by celebrities, the study said. Also the volumes of celebrity endorsed advertisement grew 70% in Y 2018 over Y 2014.
