He has a song in The Sky Is Pink (2019), music by Pritam. I heard a bit of it when Priyanka and Farhan were shooting in Delhi

Arijit Singh's song in Andhadhun "Wo Ladki" is hauntingly beautiful. It really is one of the top vocal performances of the year, in my opinion. So I am dumbfounded by your comment. "Naina Banjare" from Pataakha is also spellbding. And a top rendition of 2018. Atif Aslam has aruguably had a more successful year, but he isn't on the level of Arijit in 2016/7. I do agree, Arijit should be more selective, but he's also very new, and if you think back to the early-mid 90s, the likes of Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayn were singing far more average tunes to build their presence and catalogue, so we can't blame him for working hard.

The fact that he sings every other song in every other movie is going to be reason for his downfall. Ppl are already bored of his voice and its nothing great also imo. He is overrated.

Atif Aslam has been singing blockbuster Bollywood sings since last decade. Arijit can never reach the heights of Atif Aslam
