Except the fact that Padmavat was neither directed nor produced by Deepika. This was Deepika not deciding for herself. This was Deepika doing something she is not supposed to do- interfere in the casting.

well it was the director's decision at the end of the day...If he wanted Vicky , he could have thrown her out of Padmavat and taken Vicky...but he threw Vicky out and chose Deepika...the director looked out for his interest too...its a business...people have the right to think about themselves and choose what they think will work for them...Vicky has the same rights too...he is on his way to becoming successful...if he feels that working with a newcomer or a not so established actor may not be good for him...he can say No too...I don't get the mocking of Deepu on this matter...when she did what probably all of us do...in our lives too...will u put ur career at risk to benefit someone?? Not unless u a r a mother Teresa reincarnate...Most normal people won't...its one thing to do charity and give away some of ur excess wealth ..its another thing to put ur career on risk for which u have worked hard all ur life..

Gosh in less than a year a terrific actor becomes such a star -@vickykaushal09 in a commercial with @deepikapadukone! It's a good thing, a good thing! Really happy for this man!

I like Alia's advertisement with Vikrant Massey. But still, he gets character roles (or lead role in offbeat film). All big stars (including Deepika) have acted with lesser stars or unknown names in advertisements. But samething don't repeat in movie.

There is nothing much for Vicky to gain from this ad. His major gain is Raazi. He got a lead role in a mainstream movie with a popular female lead.

I also didn't find Deepika older than Vicky in the ad.
