Aishwarya confirms 'Gulab Jamun' with hubby Abhishek.

There have been many rumours
surrounding the on-screen comeback of
Abhishek Bachchan with wife Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan as a reel couple. The latter
has now confirmed the duo have signed
Gulab Jamun'.
Talking to Mid-Day, the ex-beauty queen
said, "AB and I agreed to do Gulab
Jamun'. I told AB that he needs to decide
what he wants to do after
Manmarziyaan.
She added, "It is a beautiful script, and
we fit the narrative perfectly... The script
has to be interesting if a real-life couple
is coming together. We have got many
scripts and at times we got tempted too.
But then, we discuss it out loud. We take
stock and say, Does it excite us? Why
should marriage define our choices?
Shouldn't we be actually approaching the
story as individual actors?
It will sure be interesting to see this real-
life couple sharing the screen once again
after eight years.

Who is directing it? and Writing it?

Well if they have a proper plan and proper story why not??
Aish and Abhi have natural chemistry and if the makers can come up with a proper story, kiya kharabi hai.
I would love a cute story of how Aish as a fitness wife who doesn't allow Abhi her husband to have any sweets.
And the movie revolves around how the husband find different ways to have tasty food chori chupe leading to comedy of errors and than getting caught one unfortunate day. Which leads to Aish being super upset and instead of screaming, she allows Abhi to have everything and says "sorry for all this years of torture, if looking after your health seems like torture to you, you are free to do whatever you want, I will interfere with your food or anything". At first Abhi is super happy and doesn't see that Aish is actually upset, but later on realises his folly and to pleasantly surprise her up, and secretly takes part in a local marathon and even though doesn't win it, but completes it, and with Aish in the end telling him as she used to before that incident not to eat this and that, with Abhi again making the "margaya face" and Aish stuffing gulab gamun in his mouth".
