Kartik Aaryan and Sushant Singh Rajput to star in Aankhein 2?

The 2002 film Aankhen starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen in lead roles back then and now the casting for its sequel has begun. According to latest reports around the project, Amitabh Bachchan will be a part of the sequel as well. However, the two new names that have come to the forefront for the lead characters in the film are of Kartik Aaryan and Sushant Singh Rajput.


A source told a leading daily that, "Talks with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan are in the final stages. The rest of the names will be in place soon as well.


Aankhen fared well at the box office in 2002 and the talks about its sequel have been on since the longest time. However, due to legal troubles with the producer of the first part of the film, the sequel was halted. But now, a new producer has been given the rights of the film. RajTaru Studios will now be producing the sequel of Aankhen. Now that Sushant and Kartik's name are in the running to be in the film, the buzz around the film is sure to increase.
