It can IF it beats Dangal. But he's number one in terms of stardom stardom meaning euphoria generated by crowds. That's different from box office tho. 2 separate things

One thing that you can't deny is, Salman tries, he throws his all into every endeavour, it's another thing that he's completely useless at everything, but at least you can't take that away from him, whether that's acting, script writing, singing, writing lyrics, hiding evidence etc.. you name it, he puts his life into it, and some time's other people's lives as well.
