A: I have known Ajay now for over 20 years, even before I became an actress, when he was my sister's hero. His only bad trait is smoking, and I can't stand that. He would do it all the time when we were sharing lunch, so we have a pact now we eat our lunches separately!

But I feel that his good points completely outweigh this one negative trait. (Smiles) He's a great guy he's responsible, consistent, very good natured, and a dear and dependable friend who can give great advice. He's someone with whom it will be great to catch up with even 20 years later.

Tabu and Ajay have been childhood friends, as she recalls. "Ajay and I go a really, really long way back, from the time we were 13 or 14. He is my brother's childhood friend and because we all grew up together in a locality in Juhu, he was always a part of the whole boys' gang while we were just giggling girls, hanging around and trying to get some attention, said Tabu.

Tabu and Ajay have starred together in films such as Vijaypath (1994), Haqeeqat (1995), Thakshak (1999), Drishyam (2015), and most recently in Golmaal Again.

She reminiscenced to the time when they did their first movie together, "Then we worked together. For me, working with Ajay really defies so many other norms of working with different people. He's one of the very few people, working with whom, work doesn't feel like work. We've known each other since we were so young. We didn't know we would become actors not me for sure.
