Rani has the variety that none of the actresses in her time or time after had. The fact that she can do Black and bunty or Babli or that she can do Mardani or Kuch kuch hota hai shows her range as an actor. I can't believe she is being questioned as an Actor, her stardom may be questionable but her acting has always been solid proof. Give me one name who can do hichki or black from today's time.

Who can attempt (forget about the BO) to play a prostitute followed by an angel and then play a cricketer/man in a span of 3 years ? Who did ? Show me ..i am talking about her flop films ...she is the personification of versatility..no one can match her range ..:)

I found her ok onscreen...i found her too sugary sweet in her initial movies..i wanted to like her offscreen but somehow her sycophantic behaviour towards khans and backstabbing nature stopped me..i have never found her great in any movie.. Contrary to popular belief, average looking is not equal to good acting

Rani is miles ahead in terms of acting and versatility in comparison to Ash and Pretiy... Ash's beauty worked for her fab following and her legacy, she might definitely be more popular but in terms of acting she is far far behind than Rani...

Though I'm not a Rani fan but she really did hit a purple patch around 2004. She was amazing in Yuva, if you watch the Tamil version you'll understand what Rani brought to the role. And then Black ofc and Bunty aur Bubli. She really carried the film and she was great in Hum Tum too. If she hadn't restricted herself to Yrf she'd have done some more good films. But then Aditya Chopra happened in the middle of all this and she lost her mind.

Preity was cute and good for the bubbly roles but don't think she was too versatile.

Rani is an average actress and her body type is a disadvantage in BW & glamour world. Add to it her hoarse voice, just doesn't sell.

She got lucky to be popular and her best work is Saathiya and Hum Tum.

Gosh, I am not even a Rani fan as such but she is miles ahead of Aish as an actor. Let's not insult her that much. Aish may be a bigger brand due to her beauty but is an extremely weak actor.

She could have had a better career if she didn't limit herself to KJo & Adi. Rani & Adi basically killed each other's careers. YRF toh managed to bounce back eventually.
