Seeing all this, Madhuri made such a good decision to marry a doctor from the US. Her life must be so peaceful and easygoing compared to all these women with divorced/married men and being 2nd and 3rd wives and dealing with step kids and affairs and so many other problems.

She must have less money but nothing is more important than peace of mind.

completely agree tho you have to keep in mind This is Bollywood so everything is smokes and mirrors with these people.

Boney seems like such a loser.

Boney is not a catch. Considering how popular and in-demand Sridevi was, he wasn't even in her league. This guy had financial issues and was a married man with 2 children. Not to mention, he is almost a good decade older than Sridevi. To top it all up, he has never maintained himself well for which I wouldn't be surprised if he had health issues. The thing is, Boney was definitely smitten by her but the fact that he was able to make her his wife is something else. He brought way too much baggage into his second marriage and considering how Sridevi also had baggage of her own, it was too much to carry. I'm not surprised as to how much Boney has visibly aged over the years. Look at Anil Kapoor. He is only 1 year younger than Boney but hasn't aged as horribly as his brother.

Living near these celeb areas in Bombay, there were always rumors and gossip about Boney Kapoor. It was always related to money though. I had family friends who ran in somewhat the same circles as them.

He was known to be almost always bankrupt, too many loans etc. And the lifestyle his wife and kids led was taking a big toll on him. Sridevi did Malini Iyer, the tv show just to help the family out a bit, financially.

Post EV, it was said they were doing much better. I don't know what was the case after Mom because I no longer live in India now..

Sridevi despite boney always being bankrupt was rich enough. I am sure she left all her properties for her daughters. And i also think she never sold any of her properties to pay off his debts knowing how careless he is with money.
