Sulu , Flop right?

So Atul Kasbekar threatened me that post 17th Nov, I will do OD on Lotus when I said Sulu will be a flop...What is the Box Office Status? Reviews are good but who cares since no one is going to the theatres

Started slow, but if reviews and WOM r good then it should put decent numbers over the weekend. Since Kahaani (2012) this is the best Vidya Balan film for sure.

Tumhari Sulu has shown very good growth of around 60% on Saturday to collect 4.25 crore nett apprx. This will take the total of the film to a little under 7 crore nett. If this growth was say a year back it would be assumed a winner but the dynamics of the box office has changed now and despite this growth it is difficult to judge. The fact that bulk of the business is Mumbai also puts doubt as this circuit is not the best on weekdays. The business post Sunday is crucial. The business of Tumhari Sulu is as follows.

Friday - 2,65,00,000

Saturday - 4,25,00,000

TOTAL - 6,90,00,000
