The Hindi releases Tumhari Sulu and Aksar 2 opened to a poor response with the former collecting around 8-10% in morning shows at multiplexes. Aksar 2 is a sequel / series to Aksar which was released in 2006 but the film does not have much of a release at multiplexes and single screens have not opened well. Aksar (2006) was a decent fare commercially as it covered its low costs but the fact is no one hardly watched the film and therefore a second part is going to find it hard.
Tumhari Sulu is that typical Saturday film when high ends collect best but as has been in the past few months every other multiplex film is getting that Saturday grow and it is Monday that sorts out the good ones and the poor ones.
Justice League has taken an excellent opening of 50-55%. The film did not get a release in its dubbed versions of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu as the censor did not come in time so is only playing in its English version. Despite playing in just English it will easily beat the Hindi films and probably both of them put together. If we compare the collections of Justice League and Thor - Ragnarok English version only then it seems that Justice League is actually a better opening. Obviously its hard to say if it would have done as well as Tor - Ragnarok in dubbed but in English it seems to have got a better opening.
