Watched all interviews. Not a fan of Kangana. The only films I liked were Queen and TWMR. I agree with Kangana on gender bias, stereotypes, and nepotism (especially the last topic is where she hits nail on its head).
I liked her AIB video, I like her for being independent, self made achiever. I am not a fan but like her honest ways of speaking. She is blunt and says things as is. You may agree with her or not but her honesty in era of fake images and diplomacy is refreshing.
I am not interested in HR-kangana affair one bit. Methinks it is a non issue stetched way too far by both parties. I can't take sides because I suspect it is a joint publicity stunt.
Roshans could have ignored it instead of letting it get too far.
Anyway, Kangana and co can rant all they want and they might be partially right also but fact is that no one in Bollywood and Mumbai based media will ever support her (even if she is right).
The journos who praised her to skies were all Delhi based political ones. Mumbai media was mum.
Roshans are far more well networked, well connected than what Kangana will ever be. Businesses and livelihoods of many depend on them, their movies and their studio, PH. Why will anyone speak against them or go against them?
Bollywood is male dominated for a reason. Women hardly network here, nor build any connections. Women don't sell films. Male stars do. Ex wives also support only male stars because of family relations, kids and all benefits they get from their connection with celeb husbands.
Kangana also mentioned she might leave movies one day and shift to some other field. That's also a reason why no one puts eggs in this basket. Female actors' shelf life is too short, they often leave industry altogether or work intermittently. They rarely start own production houses or expand footprint in film business.
Roshans have been here before Kangana was even born. They will still be here even long after she is dead. So morality or sexism be damned, anyone in industry and film media will support them and never risk being in their bad books.
Women do complain of sexism but forget it is ultimately about money, power, connections. Kangana could win a one up over an Adhyan but not Hrithik. You have to be more powerful and increase your network if you want support.
Roshans have revived careers of old friends in industry, producers, exhibitors, distributors all are known to them. Obviously anyone will want to be in their good books.
Outsiders do have it tougher. No matter what SRK is today he will never speak against any Chopra, Johar or Roshan and not disturb powers that be.
That's how it is. It is wrong but power is all that matters.
Kangana and her sister really need to tone it down. Especially her sister really needs to control herself. She might be attached to her sister but making tamasha on Twitter is foolish. Same for Roshans who need to bury this nonsense instead of letting it fester, get uglier and make a fool of both parties.
Kangana cannot play victim after willingly entering into CONSENSUAL relationship with Hrithik. Her or her sister now calling them much older married men, uncles etc is a joke! Did they realise age difference only now?
If at all anyone can learn from this epi is that young aspiring starlets should not get into affairs with married men. And vice versa 😆
You get in industry with talent or by sleeping around?
Not bothered about who is right or wrong in HR-Kangana case but I am sure Kangana will get no support. For obvious reasons.
This is a non issue stretched way too far and frankly boring. I mean HR-Kangana are not even a hit and hot pair like Amitabh-Rekha or Salman-Aishwarya! Who will dig so much into their story?
Roshan must learn from smarty pants like Amitabh who kept silent no matter what interviews Parveen, Amrita or Zeenat or Rekha gave about him. And is seen as clean guy while those stories are forgotten and were never stretched too far.
Any stars being more in news for their personal drama than their movies is not a good sign. High time Kangana and Hrithik realised that. Cut the crap. Move on.
