How long should one wait for mod action ?

Mod have time to lock thread, but they don't have time to take action against personal attacks. So how long should one wait before reporting again. Here is the response that I got back from one of the Mod.

I feel bad for Mods. None of them are paid for this job which might feel good at the beginning coz of power but must suck later coz all you do is Lock threads and scan through meaningless personal attacks to check what is apt and what is not.

Well, in my case they have responded quite nicely when i asked them about threads being locked etc. Being a mod of BW forum is no cake walk because, it is breeding ground for vile and vicious fan wars which go way too personal. So, i guess we should cut the mods some slack.

We have time and time again told members of this forum that if you have any issue with DT moderation it must be discussed via PM with DT. NOT openly on the forum yet members continue to open thread against DT.

If you refer to the rules thread, we've clearly said that members should allow a minimum of 48 hours before they report again quite simply because some threads take longer than others to deal with. Also, we have a life outside of IF and cannot guarantee to be online 24/7... please be patient.
