When Karan posted the first-look pictures of his infant twins, Roohi and Yash, on August 7, Kajol was one of those who liked it on the social network. A source tells us that Karan had sent a baby photo to Kajol. "He wrote a long emotional text to her, saying that he is missing her, and Kajol responded as a sweet gesture, says the source.

They decided to meet up on Kajol's birthday on Saturday afternoon. Kajol had sent a message to the filmmaker, with whom she has worked in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

"Kajol sent a message to Karan and invited him on her birthday. There was no late-night bash but a small afternoon get-together. They met and had a good conversation, says the source.
