Yes 10 million is a good number, but this is SRK, hid movies always do moderate to great business overseas, has more to do with his star power, rsgher than Imti's story telling. For example JHMS had 1200 screens if I am not wrong. 13.5 million or 16lakhs footfalls in 1200 screens is good decent collection, but nothing great or earth shattering. India mai bhi 50-60 lakhs footfalls toh ayyi na 3.5k screens mai during the same period. Itna difference nahi hai.

13.5 million dollars, meaning 1.35 crore dollars, ek movie ka price kitna hota hai foreign mai?? minimum 8 dollar if I am not wrong, so footfalls toh hoti hongi around 1687500, chalo 4 dollars le lete hai, toh phir bhi footfalls would be around 3.3 millions. Koi baadi baat toh nahi hai. Woh toh dollar ka value ziyada hai ishi liye 13.5 million baada lagta hai.

Arre itna economics ki zarurat hain hi nahi hain, simple fact is SRK is popular overseas and a portion of the overseas viewers are stuck on those NRI pandering YRF/Johar films (not all obviously). Indian viewers (not all) however, have no faith in his films in general because his films haven't been good in years. Look at the people Indian viewers are giving chance to, Aamir, and to some extent Akki. Stars who have been making films that connect with people and are generally well made. Isme conspiracy kuch nahi hain. Only in this forum, SRK's failures can be seen in terms of conspiracy involving Modi to Indian viewers. His failures could have been predicted long back when he was busy making Happy New Year to give competition to Aamir-Salman. Indian viewers are basically done giving chances to his lackluster films. JHMS looked particularly lackluster so it did even worse. Raees opened well, he still retains a major part of his Indian fanbase but he needs to switch it up, nahi toh woh bhi jaayega while (some of) his fans write conspiracy theories online.

I don't think, they are still stuck in NRI movies, but SRK is huge overseas. even Dilwale did a great business overseas. SRK ka star power is huge, India ya phir foreign, but you can see here too his movies despite huge opening are not having good hold even in Overseas. and that gives an important insight.

LOL...u didn't get my point...all I am saying that even though SRK movies always do better over seas...but anytime the overseas figure is around 10 million overseas...the corresponding number in India is usually over 100 crores...this time for JHMS its unusually low in India.😕...

Koi bhi reason ho, SRK is popular overseas. Raees opened well enough in India also. Abhi India mein chal nahi raha kyunki his films aren't fun anymore. Koi conspiracy nahi hain isme. Viewers get older and they lack the excitement to fall for the starpower only, they need better things from films. His films are crashing because they aren't fun.
