Not a fan of either. Ranveer tends to overact while DP hardly acts well. If I really hav to pick one then it'll be Ranveer cos atleast his voice is bearable.

Why are the comparing these two? what purpose does it serve?

Ranveer and Deepika are fab actors, they contribute immensely to their projects

Ranveer has BBB, Lootera ,RL, DDD, BM

Deepika was great in LP,Cocktail, CE, RL, Piku, Tamasha

Both deserve credit for their performances

DP aced her roles in 2013 which she did CE, YJHD, RL , fact to remember is that she was shooting for all 3 at the same time, she multi tasks and did well.

While Ranveer concentrates on one project at a time he is more of a method actor.

I love them both and they are fabulous actors.

Adi is bad director. His late father was the one who edit DHLJ for him. And you can see, the real Adi in Befikre and bad Ranveer in it. So, Who the real director actor?

People always say CE director is a bad director, but, people laugh with Deepika more than SRK. So, where and who is Director actor?😛

Ranveer is more of a maethod actor, He prepares for the roles dedicates his time for that and perfects it, you could see that in movies like Lootera, BM and even Ramleela. He completely transforms himself into the character especially the mannerisms , the body language , dialogue delivery 😊

Purpose? What purpose does life have?

They mean nothing to us. Comparing them serve nothing. Even this whole IF website means nothing and serves nothing to real world.

But , yeah, we are on IF, having fun, so take it lightly.Chill.

As far as being on screen is concerned, I think both are good, they have films in which they were fantastic - BBB and Tamasha/Piku for me - films they were ok/average in like DDD and Chennai Express, and films they both were bad in like Mastani/Break ke Baad and Kill Dill. Ranveer has done less films so it feels like he has better work in comparison. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Deepika's voice modulation is dull but her emoting in Tamasha and Piku really resonated with me, Ranveer's voice modulation is generally good and he gets into character well, but he can also go OTT very easily. That's why I think they gel as a couple, they complement each other - their chemistry in Ram Leela was amazing.

Dunno till date I havent been able to personally see the different dimensions of performer Ranveer Singh like the major critics and industry ppl.He is decent but never created a WOW effect.I still think BBB is his best.He has been convincing in DDD,Lootera etc but dunno the connect is missing.And he loses his charisma whenevr he has to put on SLB's melodramatic style

Deepika on other hand is always likeable onscreen.Something or the other makes her act seem genuine even though her dialogue delivery still needs a lot of work.I love how she emotes with her eyes.Captured my heart completely as Piku,Tara,Naina,Meenamma even Shanti.

Yea. I remember even sane Bani fans like Ctrl-Alt-Del got pissed off. 😆 Y'all hated me so much during BB10 for my daily anti-Bani threads! Even, Rohan fans used to dislike a lot when I used to bash him like hell in the first 2 months of BB10. 😆
