Who's better Ajay Devgan or Sunny Deol

Only comment if you have followed both actors careers.

As you know I'm huge fan of Ajay Devgan & Sunny Deol and i've seen all of their movies till date. So it dosen't matter who you choose as long as you give a good reason.

Before you comment think about some of good performances these two legends have given in the past. I've given some example from both actors respectively.

Ajay Devgan---

The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Zakhm, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Gangaajal, Omkara, Dilwale, Vijaypath, Deewangee, Diljale, Drishyam, Company, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Singham, Jaan, Phool Aur Kaante and ect.

Sunny Deol--------

Ghayal, Damini, Jeet, Gathak, Border, Ziddi, Gadar, Indian, Vishwatma, Tridev, Dacait, Arjun, Betaab, Sultanat, Big Brother, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Apne, Arjun Pandit, Zor and ect.

Never found Sunny Deol a great actor, he used to just scream OTT in most of his movies

Ajay IMO. He was awesome in OUAT, Gangajal, HDDCS. I loved Sunny too in Ghayal and Damini.

Yes, he screams at times but he has his own style which is different compared to other actors. The purpose of it is to make his character look believable on screen. Gadar, Jo Bole So Nihal, Jeet, Gathak, Damini, Ghayal, Indian, Border, Zor, Ziddi and ect are examples. It's just a way of expressing his anger when potraying a character in films.

I think Dharmendra used shout in his movies so that's probably the reason why he does it.

In Comedy, Action, Dancing and Serious roles , Ajay is miles ahead.

Sunny can only do action roles, that too with so much of screaming.

AD can communicate anger without tearing our ear drums.

So yeah, AD over SD for me.

Ghayal is the Baap of all action films and nothing will ever come close to it so if I ranked performances I would put Sunny in Ghayal first, but overall AD is miles ahead as an actor. He can bring the same intensity that is Deol's forte but can also ace subtle roles like Raincoat and Drishyam with aplomb.

Let me be blunt. Ajay does not have a 20 plus year career because of his connections or good looks. He has it because he is a damn good actor. He disappears into the role and you cannot see him, you see the character. Few in BW can do that.
