Devasena could have killed him but then there would be no difference between her and bhalla. Killing within relations. Moreover she could've freed herself long back but had to wait for her son to rightfully own his place. After fighting.

i don't understand the way awards are given man . if this man doesn't deserve awards then i don't know who deserves but few minutes later i realized that there is nothing new in it . it happens most of the time that only few selected ones win . rarely we see the deserving ones win. Mahendra did kill within relation

If Devsena had defeated Bhalla and killed her in the AU, it would have been her dharma

Devasena killing bhalla would absolutely be dharma. But the singhasana was not hers to be owned. It was rightfully her son's. Though of course I would have liked if she could've ruled like Shivagami, as rajmata waiting for her son's return but that wasn't possible in the scenario. With no one by her side and katappa too being bound to the king. He could have freed her maybe but couldn't help her fighting the king.

Guys - quick question. Calling all the superheroes of the thread, please!

I've started plotting my AU Mirchi fic where Jai/Vennela have grown up as bava-mardalu but have hit a roadblock.

I realise that though I've seen the movie a zillion times, I have no clue what Jai and Vennela's last names are! Does anybody remember/know their last names? All I remember is people saying "Jai", "Vennu" and "Deva garu", frustatingly. No last names anywhere!

And what's the name of the village they live? Vaguely remember it was something like "Rentu/Renu Chinta..." something. And Jai does go to Italy in the first half, right?

We need a DS movie wiki, man. Even Google is no help when it comes to these things! And if I start watching the movie again to try and find out, there does my day, lol.

HALP pliss.
