Rudramadevi isn't that bad actually. I mean movie is great. That scene I'm talking about. It's more like, any boy and girl romancing. Doesn't satisfy but doesn't hurt the eyes too. And anushka looked beautiful. Though the red blouse was a bit awkward but her face was glowing.

I think it's more to do with how we see him in this look.. It's how a very normal person next door appears.. And it's an ungroomed look in disguise.. 😉 From that POV it's very much ok.. 😊

Ooo that is a 90-minute discussion that actually precipitated from another conversation on the game of microscope (its a storygame that involves worldbuilding). It was fun discussing what the camaraderie would have been like between two brothers who'd have grown together to love and support each other and move mountains if the protection of the other comes under threat. If there's a Bhalla (his entire characterization flips now) who loves his younger brother Amarendra, imagine the things he'd do to you if you decided to mess with his brother.

Some points I remember:

- Bhalla & Amarendra undercover being all cutesy bros (a lot of natkhat moments here)

- Amarendra spots Devasena, and woops he's a goner😆

- Bhalla on the other hand spots Devasena's sister, Aishani,(who's just sitting nearby all cool watching her sister fight) although he's intrigued by her, he doesn't give it much thought

...in a storygame you'd explain this with a scene: during a conversation later, when Bhalla accuses Aishani for not helping Devasena with the bandits earlier, she'd coolly reply saying that her sister was enough for the bandits at hand and there wasn't any need for her to step into the fight

(backstory: Aishani is a skilled swordsman like Devasena, and is as much an expert in Spear-play/Mace-fighting as Devasena is in Archery)

- Bhalla going out of character as a simpleton/normal subject (he can't stand rubbish when he sees it and often slips back into prince-mode), Amarendra reminding him to not behave like a prince😆

- When Bhalla realizes Amarendra's feelings for Devasena, the teasing-games begin😆

...in a storygame you'd explain this with a scene: Bhalla essentially throws everyone out of the way (all the guys holding onto him/trying to subdue him go flying in the air 😆)and almost gets to the bull before catching the look on Amarendra's face -- an understanding passes between the two and Bhalla, whilst gritting his teeth, stands his ground as the bull smashes into his brother

- Aishani carefully analyzing the behaviour of the two brothers and spelling out her concerns to Devasena. Devasena's knowing smile on hearing her sister's astute conclusions.

- Aishani spotting Bhalla placing extra dollops of food from his own plate into Amarendra's whilst the latter's busy bringing a pitcher of water for the two.

- Aishani's self-realization on her attraction towards Bhalla

- Devasena and Aishani singing the Kanha song together

...in a storygame you'd explain this with a scene: Amarendra's super happy to hear Devasena sing. Bhalla laughing at his brother's silliness. He pretends to sleep but almost falls off the bed hearing Devasena sing a phrase about the bull-attack she orchestrated. Bhalla actually and totally falling off the bed when Aishani joins her sister and sings a phrase reflective of an action he performed a few minutes ago -- putting some food from his own plate onto Amarendra's

Aishani's phrase for Bhalla:

Makhan chor woh kehta hai aise

bin maange bhi deta woh jaise

nahi usne koi

chal hai kiya

- When Amarendra realizes that Bhalla's actually legit attracted to Aishani but refusing to give in to the same, a new set of teasing games begin😆

- Aishani's setting up ways and means for Devasena and Amarendra to "meet" and bumping into Bhalla doing the same😆

- During the Pindari intrusion/battle, the simultaneous deduction of Amarendra-Devasena and Bhalla-Aishani on the palace's weak points. Them arriving on those points together and fighting the intruders off in sync.

...in a storygame you'd explain this with a scene: Amarendra meets Aishani on the way to Devasena's room. Aishani cuts him off before he even says a word and gives him a rare smile as she makes her way outside. Aishani and Bhalla arrive at the apex of their palace's front with spears/maces in tow. Their eyes convey and lock onto a strategy for their defense.

Amarendra and Devasena fight off the intruders at their end and then join Bhalla and Aishani out front, who're moving through the herd as one; each the extension of the other. Amarendra jumps to cover Aishani's side whilst Devasena fills in the gap nearabout Bhalla's defensive circle. The four of them build a new vuyh/formation and manage to stem the flow of the interlopers.

Aaand I could go on and on and on but the above is a gist of what we discussed😆
