The nationwide results of Ash-Abhishek ki neverending guessing game—will they, won't they, should they shouldn't they, where, when, how—are in. Everyone has an opinion on the alliance of the century—from housewives to daadis, and kids in their corners—everyone wants to have their say.

Should there be a wedding? 57 per cent nationally believed that Aishwarya Rai should marry Abhishek Bachchan. Pune topped our poll. An overwhelming majority—99 per cent believe the wedding is meant to be. In Mumbai 27 per cent believe a wedding should happen. However, nationally 42 per cent believe Abhishek's too good for Aishwarya. 90 per cent of Puneites polled also thought so. However Mumbaiites thought differently with only 26 per cent believing Abhishek was too good for her.

Hyderabad's divided equally, with a 50-50 split down the middle on the 'should they, shouldn't they' question. Nationally, 21 per cent thought Abhishek was lucky to have Ash at all. In Mumbai, only 8 per cent thought the same. But do they make a fab couple? 70 per cent of Bangalore thinks so. Only 20 per cent of Mumbaiites agree. 32-year-old flight attendant, Seema Pinto believes they should get married because of their looks. "Imagine how cute their kids would turn out," laughs Seema.

But opinions are polarised on this 'union of the century' as well. 19 per cent of their fans nationally, feel they are both good individuals but are probably just not meant for each other. In Mumbai that figure is 42 per cent.

"I feel that Ash's culture and background is very different from that of the Bachchans," says 42-yearold S Radhakrishnan. "She is not fit to be married in to the Bachchan family and will certainly not suit Abhishek as a wife."

Even past relationships of both Ash and AB seemed to have had an impact on the responses people gave. "Look at the kind of relationships Aishwarya has had in the past. All have ended in disaster," says 27-year-old restaurant manager Pooja Kirkire. "Agreed AB too has had his share of controversy with the Karisma Kapoor episode, but at least they split amicably and not make a tamashaa like Ash-Salman."

they are both good to their respective fans. but they will be better off with others, not each other.😊 if they still want to marry, then i wish them all the best.😉

I dont care about Ash-Abhi,but I hope Ash and DU work more together in future...They look so BREATHTAKING😳.....ARe they human or what...😆..Especially Hrithik...WOW!....Abhi can NEVER look that HOT EVER!
