I love Akki, a fav he is but he certainly didn't deserve that award lol. Him saying he's been here for 25 years doesn't make sense, so should awards be given to Manoj Kumar b/c he's been here 40 years?? He can't act if a knife was held to his throat so Akki doesn't make sense to me.

^^No no I didn't mean Akki!! Ofc he can act, he's one of our best actors! I meant Manoj Kumar can't act & his seniority shouldn't be the basis of giving him, or in this case, Akki the award, because he didn't deserve it for Rustom. His acting was average & he's done much better in other films.

well I like akki in some of his movies, yes he can act, but did not deserve the national award .
poor guy ko zindagi bharr safaayi deni padegi...its like daag in his national trophy.
and its annoying to see him cry, take my award away, I know I don't deserve it. worse than saif winning for hum tum.

they should have given to manoj bajpai

Dangal' actress Sanya Malhotra replaces Bhumi Pednekar in Manmarziyan'?

Aanand L Rai's production venture Manmarziyan' starring Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana has been in the pipeline since a long time. The shooting of the film had started with director Sameer Sharma. Later, the director was changed and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari was roped in to direct the film. However, the shooting of the film with Ashwiny has not yet started.

Few days ago, there were reports that Anurag Kashyap has been roped in to work on the script to make it dark and gritty. And now, there is a buzz Dangal' actress Sanya Malhotra has replaced Bhumi in the film. Apparently, the makers are also planning to replace Ayushmann.

Well, after making a successful debut with Dangal', we all were waiting to know which will be Sanya's second film. And if these reports turn out to be true, it will be interesting to watch the actress in an Aanand L Rai film. Well, for the uninitiated, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is Dangal' director, Nitesh Tiwari's wife. So now, we know how Sanya might have landed up the role in Manmarziyan'.

On the other hand, Ayushmann and Bhumi are already doing another Aanand L Rai's film titled as Shubh Mangal Savdhan'.

but art-house favorite is Radhika Apte. 😕
