This is the reason why Hotels (not farmhouses) has limited hours for loudspeakers. Even Pandals during Durga Puja in Delhi atleast take license.

You mentioned UP, well, not surprised we all know implementing law is not a priority there. Perhaps a bit of digging outside UP will help.

Usage in Religious Institutions

Religious places are considered as silent zones, wherein the maximum permissible sound is 50 dB(A)/ Leq during day time and 40 dB(A)/ Leq during night. The above restriction applies to all institutions around 100 metres. What is 50 dB ?. The sound which is necessary for communication in between two persons. A loudspeaker which is capable of sound producing for communication within a hall will alone will be possible . The practice of installing loudspeaker to produce noise outside the said premises within 100 metres may amount to violation

The State Government has been empowered to grant permission to use loudspeaker on or during any cultural or religious festive occasion of limited duration not exceeding fifteen days in all during the calendar year. But such relaxation is not permissible between 10.00.P.M and 12 midnight. The State Government has to identify the festivals which are prominent in their State and issue a notification in this regarding relaxing the provisions of Noise Rules. This is a onetime affair for the entire State and not for each religious institution for different periods

I never said Sonu is in the wrong to have problem with the loudspeakers... Its his rant on Twitter which reeks of attention seeking.. Had he actually tried to resolve the issue by taking it up to the relevant authorities since apparently it is against the law, I would have agreed that he does not need attention.. And to top it off, all the retweets of people supporting him, the hair shaving and calling press for the same, all reeks of attention seeking behaviour at best, much like the cleavage controversy of Deepika

@Bold: How did you know the artist didn't do anything about it other than tweeting? Unless you know more than me on this issue, we can't say for sure, can we? And also social media is a powerful media, so why not make use of it? See a lot of people now came to know that it is against the law to use loudspeakers during certain times...I for sure didn't know about it before...See, everything is not about attention...The media and people just made it about religion in the first place, which is totally an overreaction...

Sorry, no clue about the cleavage controversy of Deepika...😲😕(sounds very regressive)

What do you think tweeting about it would do? Get the attention of the mosque people who would then lower the loudspeaker? No.. If he had actually done something about it, the news would have come by now.. There is no way, news people would let the masaledar news that Sonu had complained about the loud noise of the azaan would not be caught by the media.. They would have had a field day.. this twitter reaction would be nothing as compared to that.. You might have a different opinion but I view everyone who uses Twitter for ranting as an attention seeking behavior, something I have observed since quite some time now and as I said, his actions following those tweets validate my belief
As for DP cleavage controversy, long story

Same observation goes for the sns and other such extremist groups.

No pleasing people who don't want to see good stuff ...genuine question should be why media doesn't show good stuff however small it is 🤔

I have a policy of giving everyone a benefit of doubt until they prove to me otherwise...In this case, I prefer not to judge him depending on his tweet...And his further reactions say a zilch about wanting to seek attention...He is being abused for his personal opinions and perhaps he is not amongst the ones who stay quite when someone abuses him...Nothing wrong with it...His twitter, his time, his image...

Its ok...I am not judging you either, for having an opinion on this...We can as usual co-exist with two different opinions...🤗
