It's Mani Ratnam Guys! According to a source close to the development, "After doing Guru and Raavan with the couple in the lead roles, Mani Ratnam has been planning a third film with them for some years now."
Mani Plays Important Role In Ash-Abhi's Careers He further added, "He is very close to both of them. In fact, Aishwarya Rai started her career with Mani's Iruvar and Abhishek's career highlights are Mani's Yuva and Guru."
It Will Be His Third Collaboration With Ash-Abhi "The upcoming film will happen after Kaatru Vaaliydai in Tamil (Cheliya in Telugu). Mani will return to Hindi cinema with his third Ash-Abhi vehicle," concluded the source
Aishwarya-Abhishek In Happy Anniversary' Not so along ago, producer Gaurang Doshi had confirmed that Aishwarya & Abhishek are coming together for a film. Gaurang had confirmed the news by saying, "I will start with Happy Anniversary after Aankhen 2. In fact the work for it is already on. We replaced Prahlad with another director after he made a few statements that didn't bode too well with the team."
Official Announcement Is On Its way Gaurang had further added, "There are a couple of directors interested in helming this project, but we want the best. We'll be making an official announcement soon. The audience will get to see Aishwarya, Abhishek and Amitabh together in this film. It's one of my most ambitious projects and the film will go on floors this year."
