Priyanka has said that she let everyone in HW know that she is used to a certain kind of roles - the lead roles and won't settle for anything less. The Zoya and Bhansali movies you are talking about were those where she wasn't playing the lead. Look at the others where she played lead - Mary Kom, Jai Gangajal. Those are not exactly the mainstream commercial sort of movies you associate with a star actress. I do care about content and I don't mean to offend when I say her career was almost over because she was getting big movies as a lead. It is just the truth. With age, there are only so many roles you get in BW. Her run was almost done. And I think she realised that too. So, she tried to expand and she did it pretty well.

Well, I didn't make her sound like them... I think Lara and Amisha's career was over long back and Bipasha is just dragging it out now. It would be extreme to make these comparisons.

I actually think even Deepika and Ranveer don't know where they are going with their relationship.

They're just hanging on till something better comes up for both.

Varna is this how in love couples look? So hang dog and miserable. When their career is what every newcomer longs for. Shouldn't they be like jumping around..at the top of profession..five years relationship.? Having sex once in a while (if even that; after vin diesel) and coordinating together appearances at an important event is not a relationship.

It should flow. You don't hv to hide from media. Nor do u need to court it.

Does anyone think this couples gonna get married? Even if ranveer does.want it...what about his poor parents who can be objective about who is invested and who isn't. Marriage is for life! One gets old and saggy and Ranveer seems like a very physical type of person. Goes without saying Deepika is potty about men. She ain't going to stop flirting once she is married.

she just looks very sad to me

her eyes lost the sparkle they had once.

Wonder if it is some personal issues but she doesn't look happy or radiant how she used to earlier. Her smile is not reaching her eyes. Something seems wrong.

PC had the best role in DDD, the whole story was centered around her. If she didn't topline critic reviews it's bc others turned in good performances and her arc was handled kind of frustratingly, but she's obviously the female lead. Yeah A-listers were boycotting her, but who had significantly bigger movies than her in 2015? DDD made more than Tamasha in India (and WW more than Piku, though obviously the budget was higher) How were PC's movies smaller than Deepika's? She had pretty much equal screen space in BM too, minus the dance numbers.

Deepika was in a bad space during those days when she starred with Neil nitin mukesh and imraan. That does not mean her career was over.

Pee Cee didn't get to star in the mega projects starring aamir salman SRK..but she never went out of business. She was always there. Didn't Lara dutta diya.Mirza come around same time?

She got so much acclaim for bajirao in a Secondary role..and this was after RAM.leela and Chennai express for Deepika.

How was she over? Kareena starred in bajrangii and shivam and bodyguard..that means she was number one?

Zoya could've taken anyone after ZNMD. She took Peecee. How was Pee Cees career over? Like they say Deepika is over just now because xxx didn't explode Deepika into stardom?

Priyanka was doing the same films as Deepika's boyfriend. How was PC not the lead of big budget Dil Dhadkne Do? It was a story of the Mehra family. Anushka was supporting.

The crap I hear on this forum is amazing!

Why doesn't Deepika just say the truth...

That yes, she was at the top of her game in Bollywood unlike Pee Cee but looking at Pee Cees success with her debut and all the trappings that come with it...global recognition..money... She got greedy and took the plunge but unfortunately it didn't work out in quite the same way. Plus unlike Pee Cee she got distracted with the idea of being vin diesels girlfriend inspite of a nice boy back home.

IMO, that alone has cost DP a lot of fans and probably business. Her nice girl next door image is no more.

So she wants to be compared with Sonam, Sonakshi and Anushka. Sonakshi debuted in 2010 and Anushka in 2008, so Deepu is their 'senior'.

Me too. I see lot of crap on the forum. Some people are really aggressive when defending their favourites. 😕
