Alia to do 'Lunchbox director's' next?

Apparently, Alia Bhatt has signed The Lunchbox' director Ritesh Batra's next movie. The director had a script ready and was hunting for a leading lady for the film. Karan Johar, who co-produced The Lunchbox', asked Ritesh to narrate the script to Alia who loved it.

A source said, "Alia has liked The Lunchbox' director Ritesh Batra's script and is on board principally. It was her mentor Karan Johar, who had co-produced The Lunchbox', who got Ritesh to give the actress a narration as he loved the script. Ritesh was initially a little hesitant as he thought Alia was too big an actress to even approach. But Alia loved the story too. Right now the dates and financials are being worked out."
