waise i think 89 cr is too high for Kaabil's budget considering the budget of Raees is 95 cr, and kaabil's production values were average and if you watch the film you will realize that no way its a 89 cr film. if RR is lying also, then max the budget can be 65 cr thats it..

and about coming solo, well Hrithik is not a Khan, he does not get solo releases since 3 years now, and good thing is that it does not affect him much, even if his film fails, its a producer's decision i guess.

89 Cr figure comes with HIGH SELLING PRICE - Same happened with Jai Ho... they SOLD HIGH, jabki 102 cr waali koi baat nahi thi.

Budget = Cost of Production + P & A (Which Distributor gives)

Budget value now is assed with all these factors - How much invested & Which price film was SOLD.

Today makers don't bother about HIT / FLOP ,... they go only for HIGH PRICE... Even Salman & Sohail knew ke JAI HO won't be BIG HIT... still they charge High Selling price for it, coz they wanted to make most of it when Salman is doing good.

Makers can do this kind of gamble... provided they Return it by scoring HIGH GROSSING Films... which Salman is doing from 2010... so 1 film high cost distributor's dont mind when they are earning double / trippel from salman other films.

I am sure now KRRISH 4 won't get any high price... Hrithik's other films other than home production will suffer...

I have no knowledge about all these cost and selling price of films. I hope BOI stops licking SRK's ass and gives Kaabil some credit for its survival when everybody thought it would crash

Film is SOLD @ HERO / HEROINE / DIRECTOR / STUDIO dimensions. Top stars get high price depending on how their last 5-8 films performing at Box Office.

When you have career of 20+ years, u can ask for High price, Khans, Kumar, Devgn, & Now roshan ask.

Salman films nowadays are sold at high price coz they fetch huge return. SRK / HRITHIK sold at high price for profts, now that is harming their film's verdict. You don't fetch more, you don't get verdict.
