Rakesh R to Remake Karan Arjun with SRK - HR

Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khans Raees are set to clash this January 25th. Both are big ticket much awaited films whose trailers have been received well. While this big clash is not a great day, box office wise, ( as their collections will be impacted), this hasn't affected Rakesh Roshan's relationship with Shah Rukh Khan in anyway. In an interview with Mid-day, Rakesh reveals, that he always had a great working relationship with King Khan who he has worked with in King Uncle, Karan Arjun and "I am very fond of Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri. I ma really close to his entire family. I remember shooting for Krazzy 4 (2008) in which Hrithik was supposed to do a special number. But he had to back out at the last moment due to a knee injury. When I discussed the problem with Shah Rukh Khan, He immediately agreed to do the song." He also further added that he would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan again. " Hrithik will also star in my movies. If ever I work on a two-hero film like Karan Arjun where both male actors have equal roles, I will approach Shah Rukh." Now, that will one movie to watch out for!

The upcoming clash has left him unperturbed,"Nothing bothers me because whatever is written in my destiny will come to me. I wouldn't have released my film if I had known another movie is releasing on the same day, because I am aware of the blood and sweat the entire cast and crew puts in to make a film." he states while speaking with the same tabloid.

Kabail starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Guatami is about a story of revenge of a visually challenged guy, while Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan is about a a bootlegger whose ambitious plans are tracked by a cop. Interestingly, both pairings are new. 8 days to go for both films. Clashing with both these films down south is Suriya's Singam 3.
