The actress, who in an IMDB poll beat the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio and Jennifer Aniston in popularity stakes, also expressed her pride and happiness about it. She said, "I am proud, excited and thankful to people who have looked for me and wanted to know about me and are curious about me. I think Indian talent deserves to be on the top 10 of the list and I am glad that I have been able to reach that position and other actors do too.

When asked about the reason behind male superstars of Hindi cinema not having made a transition to Hollywood, Priyanka said, "Male superstars perhaps don't try. You need strength for that."

Ps. She said Indian talent deserved to be in the top 10, I'm glad I've been able to reach that position (#55 on IMDb).

And that question about male superstars is lost in translation. She was asked and she said "koi try hi nahi kartha. Then jokingly said "himmat chahiye" - to start all over again. (They were talking about that prior to that, she said it's never easy wherever you start out.)

She seriously needs to get a grip, all these online polls are BS because it doesnt mean its westerners that actually go watch Hollywood movies that vote for her.

No one gives a damn about Priyanka in the west... Quantico is a mediocre show with mediocre numbers, its not even close to the level of the walking dead which is nowadays considered boring

her acting in HW media is horrible and fake... I'd rather no brown actors or actresses in HW then her embarrassing pandering. Freida Pinto was much better (tho unfortunately she doesnt get big films anymore, but who cares! shes still a better actress), not to mention Dev Patel.

and why do BW male superstars ' need' to go to hollywood? Maybe they dont want to? Maybe they want to improve their own film industry?
