KhanSinghKumar: Interesting analysis regarding Varun. Because I think Ranveer is looking more and more like Govinda who had same energy, same entertaining ability, same wacky sense of humor and taste in clothes. He was a complete entertainment package. BTW Bajiroa will need to give few more hits. It is not easy to reach the top. There are people like Khans, Akki, Kumar an Hrithik there. Top is bit crowded.

I think Varun is about to take a huge step forward. His 2017 movies are perfectly aligned and they are different from each other.

Ranbir: Time will tell. He has 9 years of head start and survived career breaking flops. It will depend on his ability to learn and adapt.

Stardom and acting are different things. And Khans and Hrithik managed both.
Ranbir doesnt have charisma and big male fan following...also he is not an entertainer in any way... Also he just succeeds in coming of age films... he cannot do action, period, anything else...
To achieve stardom, you really need to grab male audience...

I personally think Ranveer can achieve stardom if he comes in movies with Rohit Shetty, Muruggados, Kabir Khan etc... He can do action and dialoguebaazi well and also his built and looks are more suitable for action movies...

Varun can achieve stardom in govinda's way... Ranbir is a boring actor...flops in all other genres except his comfort genre... even his acting is getting worse and worse in every new movie

Because aside from being talented, HR is a beautiful specimen of human being. Also Kids love him. and unless kids love you, you will never have. a HGOTY.

Plus most of the male mass contingent don't like Ranbir. actually koi bhi naya hero main woh baat nahi tbh.
I mean gone are the days when guys used to copy the styles of Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanju Baba, Sallu, SRK and others. The new brand of actors lack the charismatic characters.

Ranbir is only accepted in Rom Com movies and can't do anything what Hrithik has done e.g. Koi Mil Gaya, Fiza, Mission Kashmir, Krrish, Guzaarish, Jodhaa Akbar, Agneepath & Lakshya.

What Hrithik has accomplished is something none these new generation stars can't do and that includes Ranbir e.g. Box Office.

Ranbir has a long way to go and i don't think he can reach that same level as Hrithik Roshan.

I think it all boils down to the fact how both were launched HR's debut was the one of the best one has seen in quite a while it really did create that aura of a star around him from the word go amongst the masses he did faulter in subsequent films but then once you have created that mass appeal & fans n people who want to watch you, you r safe and if you offer them the right kind of content they will lap it up big! Ranbir i think was neither launched with that star aura nor did his subsequent film try to create that large mass fanbase for him he has a fanbase amongst multiplex crowd but that mass appeal is def missing n thats where lies the difference I feel between stardom & the lack of it!

ppl dnt like him like crazy eslye acting bhi khas nahi :P

HR had a grand launch and the film was a mega hit but Sawariya flopped
