Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor are the most down to earth youngsters and both are star kids. I don't like their acting at all but I like their nature. If u consider Ranveer as a star kid then he also seems down to earth. For Older superstars, Srk has more ego than Salman and Aamir. And Srk is an outsider while Salman and Aamir are not.

I won't call it "Ego". Poor star kids are given a "next big star" treatment before release of their movie. Interview with big journalists, magazine covers, false praising tweets , Verified Twitter account with skyrocketing praise tweets ( by their own PR)
They are made to believe that they are a blessing to BW.
When their movie tanks, reality is hard to sink in.
Athiya , Sooraj and Harsh are prime examples.

If they are talented, they survive , most disappear after wasting dad's or producer's money.

I think it depends on the Star Child. Answers can be so varying depending on who we're choosing.

If you have the likes of Tiger and Ranbir on one hand, and Harshvardhan and Sonam on the other, there's such an extreme.
