Rockstar was the first time he made me see that he was a brilliant actor. With Barfi he showed even more versatility as an artiste.

But with Tamasha he took it to another level altogether. Nothing short of legendary.

However Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is his most accomplished performance ever. So many scenes where he emoted his heartbreak not just from uttering the dialogues or his eyes, but also his body language: his shoulders drooping, the stiffness in him after the awkward dinner scene, when he sits in the toilet looking like a zombie during the second half of the title track montage.
