- Dhoom did NOTHING for Esha Deol. Nothing at all. In fact her entire career was inconsequential. She barely made a mark by doing multi-starrers in 2004 (Yuva). Nothing of note post that.

- Dhoom 2 did not do wonders for Aishwarya. It came out at the end of 2006. Anything she signed after it's release came out post 2008. Her only film of note after that was Guzaarish in 2010 - to which she owes nothing to D2.

- Same for Bipasha - she was overshadowed by Ash in D2. She was doing well before and after Dhoom.

- Kamli gave Katrina one of the biggest songs of the year. It is in the Top 5 most viewed Bollywood film songs on YouTube (and it lost arguably 50 million views too because it was uploaded a month after the film's release - not to mention the time before the release when songs have the most hype).

It was a very poor role. But I don't think she had to choose between the two. Dhoom 3 was shot entirely in 2012. A year before it's release. The shooting of YJHD + D3 would've barely overalpped if at all.

YRF eh...so the heroine will most likely be a YRF heroine. Sucks for Vaani that Aamir doesn't want her in it. Kat can't act. So this one will prolly go to Anushka or Parineeti. Or maybe even a newcomer

I don't mind Aamir interfering for two reasons :

i - It's always fruitful unlike the other two when they try to meddle with things. Also Aamir has always been like this, takes part in everything while he films. Aamir ki choice pe pathar ki lakeer jaisa trust hai😛 (TOH excluded)

ii - If Adi C puts his foot down, I hope Aamir walks out of this project, no matter how unprofessional...AB Sr. ke saath picture phir kabhi. Abhi woh Astronaut wali movie.

Aamir is not just an actor at this stage of his career.
He is one of the best businessman in the industry and he understands the audience, and his say is the very important. Same with the other two Khans, Ajay and Akshay. They have reached a stage where they can make such demands or atleast put their opinions. It is not a noob or starlet making demands, it is one of the biggest superstar of the industry putting his opinion. And Adi should trust Aamir rather his sexual urges, so he can have fun with Vaani in name of foreign shoots.

Also Katrina's Kamli is more famous than Dhoom3 itself.
