I too was surprised back then. Also, I very much remember her picking Aamir's performance in Lagaan over Ranbir's performance in Barfi. Not just this even in I've seen her choosing some other performance over RK's Tamasha πŸ˜•

Barfi over Kabir Khan any given day!⭐️

This scene. He made me cry. 😭 This is why I say RK over SRK even though SRK is love.

Love Barfi .
I forced my bf to go to theater to watch this movie. He wasn't RK fan then. I don't think he knew who RK was prior to watching Barfi anyways
When the film started he acted like he was snoring πŸ˜†πŸ˜† then as the movie progressed he was so into it that I kept teasing him by nudging and gloating. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
He became RK fan and then forced me to go watch Besharam .Sab fan giri nikal ayi after Besharam.
ADHM was the last nail in the coffin.

Did Rockstar release prior to Barfi? πŸ˜• πŸ˜•

i watched this movie and became a huge fan, until he lost me with tamasha then ADHM... i love the way he played this scene πŸ‘πŸ‘ to convey that heartbreak using expressions and gestures without words πŸ‘

Remus: IKR. This scene makes me tear up so much. I remember crying in the theatre. The way he translated this scene was so heartbreaking ESP the nose-bump. OMG. No wonder these beautiful successful women all fall for him. Such heartbreak, such talent. 😭

RK in Barfi. That film holds a special place in my heart. Never has a movie made me smile so much and cry at the same time. The endearing childlike innocence of Barfi, his anger and frustrations in finding love...you felt connected to all of it. Pitch perfect performance.

I love SRK & him in CDI. That's one of his best, best acting jobs yet but RK. Come on, it has to be RK. RK in Barfii was so endearing & acted so, so well! That's still not RK's best because I think he is very very talented & can do more, but just that scene where he is cheering Shruti. There was such an open-ness, honesty, sincerity & love there In just those 2 mins. <3 RK, was so endearing, honest & sincere in it it broke my heart then, when he realised Shruti is engaged. RK in Barfii for sure. I don't think SRK can give a similar performance at all & before anyone jumps on me, pls know I love him a lot. πŸ˜†

πŸ˜† Why'd anyone jump on you, it's ur opinion and you're very much entitled to it.
It's more of an expression...I know how things go down on this forum.πŸ˜†

Both are good.. But overall, I enjoyed CDI more then Barfi.

Had more tears in my eyes while watching the end of CDI, as opposed to Barfi. Must be some wiring defect in my brain, but i was bored while watching Barfi, though I do agree that RK and PC, both were fabulous in it.

mine too... though RK was very good in Barfi.
