Interview : Watch Hrihik go ballistic in Dhoom 2!

This is indeed an action filled year for Hrithik Roshan. His last realease 'Krrish' was loaded with lots of stunts and Hrithik says that his forthcoming release 'Dhoom 2' is filled with much more. Watch out for Hrithik, as he takes on this exciting film, dancing, romancing and entertaining all the way. Here's an interview that unveils lots more facts about the film.

Excerpts from the Interview:

The goody boy turns bad with 'Dhoom 2'. What is your take on the negative role?

It's the intrinsic script of the film that hooked me in. This was something that I had been craving for at that moment as I was bored and fed up playing the goody roles over and over again. I enjoyed doing them but I wanted to do something different. Mr A – Aryan was an opportunity for me. I wouldn't say that the character is overall negative, it's just that he is on the other side of the law. Just because my character in the sequel takes John's role in Dhoom, he is not quite of a villain here. I was doing all these serious cinema films and wanted to do something just out of the world and completely let myself out there and have fun. I think its one of the most enjoyable films that I have done.

Tell us something about your character in the film.

Aryan has this secret mission of acquiring all high desirable objects like diamonds and jewellery that implants feelings of greed, create politics and feed the ego. He feels these things can create greed and need and comes in the way of true caring and being true to the people around you and so you always want more of these objects for yourself. No one knows what he does with all the things he robs in the film. He does it because he can and because he thinks these objects of desire are something that are the cause of most of our egoistic battles and his mission is to rid the world. His modus operandi is very unique because he does it with such a flair that really makes him out to be someone you want to be. I really enjoyed myself projecting Aryan's persona.

Were the stunts for the film challenging?

For me every film is a challenge. I want to do 10 times better to make a mark. This film is better than the prequel but its not enough, we've to reach the peak and that's what I'm striving for. Regarding the stunts I would say that I've tried my hands in everything possible in an action film like sand boarding, snow boarding, sky diving, train walking, jumping off a cliff, bikes, cars, et el. While preparing for the film I could never imagine that I would do so much. What I had done in Krrish was very small in comparison to this. Roller blading is a difficult sport and I underwent training for 3 months. I went to Dubai to train myself in indoor snow mountain. I walked on the train doing stunts and did sand boarding behind the train. I was actually hooked on to a rope that I was holding onto with my bare palm, with a train at a speed of 60 kms per hour and I was on a sand boarding just skimming behind it on this sand. There was life risk involved doing the action. I've been through near death experiences but I'm happy I'm alive. Every time you come back home you should feel fulfilled and that is something that I got out of Dhoom

You also con people with many disguises. How did it go through?

With expert makeup hands from London there is hardly anything left for you to do. I had so much fun seeing myself transformed into a complete different man every time.

How was it working with Aishwarya and Bipasha for the first time?

Aishwarya is more than her looks and beauty and is very talented. I like working with actresses like her who thinks about the film as a whole and is not engrossed only with herself. Working with her has been inspiring, engrossing, exciting. I also liked working with Bipasha because she has no tantrums and is so casual. I've no scenes with her but we all bonded so well together during the trip in Rio. Abhishek, Aishwarya, Bipasha, Uday and I had so much fun together there.

You must have enjoyed working with childhood buddies Uday and Abhishek?

Abhishek and I had been friends throughout our life and always wish the best for each other. I look forward to do more films with him. He is a good person, without any ego and it has been a fulfilling experience working with him. There is always this give and take and he is just the best in every shot. My friendship with Uday also goes a long time back and we have been friends since second standard and have done everything together under the sky from karate, computer classes, college, school, tuition, sports everything, and the only thing remaining was doing a film together. So I had a great time working with him. He has tremendous potential and I wish him the best.
