M S Dhoni - The Untold Story Saturday Box Office Collection Trends Suggest 18-19 crore Day 2 Business. The 2nd Day Collections have dropped in morning shows since the movie over-performed on first day at the box office.

The drop isn't big although we will have to wait and watch how the entire day progresses at the box office. The single screens which have over performed on first day will drop because that is how it box office trends function in India but it is multiplexes which can show growth in the evening and night shows to come up with another major day at the box office.

Tomorrow is a major national holiday as well as Sunday so there is no major additional advantage of a National Holiday. The film should see a superb weekend at the box office as the word of mouth trend is decent enough till now.

The film has outperformed in South on first day be it AP/Nizam, Tamil Nadu, Mysore etc and these areas need to hold well in the first weekend. There is enough scope for growth in Delhi/UP and East Punjab and we have to wait and see how that turns out to be in the weekend.

The film will easily score the second highest first weekend box office collections of 2016 by a good margin. Something in the range of 65 crore first weekend business will be a good number for the film considering the high costs involved in the film.

Just came from the show.One word: Excellent Acting.

Although a bit long, and post interval, story is quite uneven. I expected better screenplay from Neeraj Pandey, but every one acted so well in this movie that I forgive flaw. one of the best acted movie of this year, along the lines of Sultan, Kapoor and Sons, Pink and all. The comic moments were genuinely funny, and best part of the movie was the early morning part of his career.

They should have chopped up the song with Kaira IMO, although understandable they had to show photos with lion and Holland locale, but that could have been avoided IMO. Disha Patani, what a cutie, she had such a small role, still shone. Kaira was fine. The actors who played Mr. Banerjee and AK Ganguly were outstanding. Also all guys who played his friends and colleagues were brilliant. Anupam Kher is Anupam Kher, he is an acting institutions on his own. Bhumika Chawla, the kids who played young Mahi and his sister were all good.And coming to Sushant, well he is the backbone of the movie, definitely the best performance this year in popular movies, if we discount Manoj in Aligarh and Nawaz in RR as off beat.A good watch, worth the money I say, 3/5.
