Word. Books have always been a solace, especially being a single child. I have been a bibliophile right since my childhood...and some of my most treasured childhood memories are related to books that I read and reread many times. And my reading habit has actually stood me in good stead...if you love books you'll realize that reading your academic material and comprehending it becomes easier.

As for PC. Nothing wrong in not being a bibliophile...it's not everyone's cup of tea, but to belittle the habit and then equating smartness with dressing up is 😆 Maybe she was talking about being street smart?
